The Order of Omega is a national Greek honor society. Membership is based upon academics, service to the community, leadership within the chapter and Greek community, and participation in University activities, clubs, and organizations. There are currently 311 Order of Omega active chapters.
Applicants must be:

a Junior or Senior in academic credit hours

possess a cumulative GPA at or above a 3.0
-
have been enrolled at NMSU for at least two semesters
Further, new membership during an academic year is limited to no more than 3% of the Greek population.
You may apply for membership in the Iota Lambda chapter of The National Order of Omega using the following method:
1) Print out your application and two recommendation forms using the links to the left. Then, hand-deliver your application, along with your completed recommendation forms, to the Greek Life office.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your recommendation forms are received at Greek Life by the application deadline. Make sure that your recommender returns the form to you in a sealed envelope with their signature across the flap. This will ensure the confidentiality of your recommendations.
