The Order of Omega

Iota Lambda Chapter of the Order of Omega

The Order of Omega is a national Greek honor society. Membership is based upon academics, service to the community, leadership within the chapter and Greek community, and participation in University activities, clubs, and organizations. There are currently 311 Order of Omega active chapters.


 

Applications are now being accepted until October 28 at 4:00pm

Applications are now closed.
Before an application is considered completed individuals must have a Recommendation Form completed and submitted. Completed recommendations need to be turned into Mark Baccei electronically (mbaccei@nmsu.edu) or hard copy to Office of the Dean of Students.

Initiation will take place on November 3, 2015 at 7:00pm.


 

Applicants must be:
– a Junior or Senior in academic credit hours
– possess a cumulative GPA at or above a 3.0
– have been enrolled at NMSU for at least two semesters

Further, new membership during an academic year is limited to no more than 3% of the Greek population.

It is your responsibility to make sure that your application and recommendation forms are received at Greek Life by the application deadline. Make sure that your recommender returns the form to you in a sealed envelope with their signature across the flap. This will ensure the confidentiality of your recommendations.
